Dahlonega – Betty Jane “B.J.” Fleming, 72 died Thursday, June 29, 2006 at her residence. She was a native of Savannah and lived in Dahlonega for several years. She was retired from Delta Airlines as a Customer Service Reprsentative after many years of service.

She was preceded in death by her husband, G.R. “Dick” Fleming.

She is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert C. and Jeannie Smith, and George E. and Sylvia Smith, all of Savannah and four nephews Ross A. Smith, Timothy W. Smith, Kevin D. Ainsworth, and Derek M. Ainsworth, all of Savannah. She is also survived by many wonderful friends in Dahlonega, GA.

Graveside services were held Saturday, July 1, 2006 in Bonaventure Cemetery.
